Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!
(That's webdings for Merry Christmas)
So, this being the last holiday before 2009 I thought I'd start by saying how awesome this year has been. Maybe not my best year, but I'd like to think it was a great one for me. I don't think I've ever been so thankful for winter break. Talk about pileing up homework. Good year for the 360, though. All in all, save the economy, I take this year as a blessing.

Bible chat

The above is a link to a chat site for believers to go to for many different topics. I personally think that this is an awesome site, but expect more links to these types of things to come.

Line Rider
Line rider is one of the most fun, innovative yet simple games out there. (Plus it's free)
Here's a link: http://www.linerider.eu/
This site features spin-offs, so be careful which one you choose. Line Rider zada and line rider 3 are Both the best choices. Beware: this game is more enjoyable with a mouse or a graphics tablet. ^0^

Really. You're really that sensitive.

I was listening to the radio today and I heard a story about a man who was obviously not educated take offense to a man using the term "black hole." It goes like this:
Kenneth Mayfield was speaking in a meeting about an office in Dallas, Texas that lost traffic tickets like a Black Hole. One of Mayfield's colleagues sprang up from his chair and yelled out "I think you mean a White Hole." This colleague was african-american. The judge, Thomas Jones, Demanded an apology from Mayfield for insensitive verbal abuse.
Really. We have really reached a point in society where you can't name a part of science or nature because of its relation to a Black or White person. I thought we passed the point where skin color and race had slowed to a crawl. I know there are still people out there that are participating in white supremacist groups (I didn't capitalize it, watchoo wanna do?) or spouting off racial slur, but every time I say something like "That black t-shirt is a little ugly" Some random person doesn't scream "DUUUEAAHHHHHHAHHH I THINK YOU MEAN WHITE SHIRT YOU R A C I S T!!!" Give it some thought, like Mr. Fluffalumpagus pictured to the right.

OH SNAP.

YOU HAVE TO READ THIS FIRST BEFORE LOOKING AT THE PICTURE.Family on holiday in Australia for a week and a half when husband, wife and their 15 year old son decided to go scuba diving. The husband is in the navy and has had some scuba experience. His son wanted a picture of his mum and dad in all their gear so he got the under water camera ready to go. When it came to taking the picture the dad realized that the son looked like he was panicking as he took it and gave the 'OK' hand sign to see if he was all right. The son took the picture and swam to the surface and back to the boat as quick as he could so the mum and dad followed to see if he was OK. When they got back to him he was scrambling onto the boat and absolutely panicking. When the parents asked why he said 'there was a shark behind you.' The dad thought he was joking but the skipper of the boat said it was true but they wouldn't believe him. As soon as they got back to the hotel they loaded the picture onto the laptop and this is what they saw.
